About us

Young people.
A shared purpose.

We’re a teen-run nonprofit helping children in Nepal access food, clothing, education, and a brighter future.

Our purpose comes to life in the communities we support.

Our story

From a shared idea
to practical action.

Arnie Karanjit's family roots are in Nepal, and he has seen firsthand the poverty many children there face — kids without the basic supplies, food or clothing they need to learn. He started Everest Initiative to do something about it, and brought together classmates from Natick High School's Class of 2027 to help.

That belief takes shape through fundraising, volunteer outreach, community events, and partnerships with local stores. Together, we support children and schools in Nepal with supplies and practical improvements to learning spaces.

Our mission remains personal: help children meet everyday needs, open doors to education, and build hope for what comes next.
